CaseFile is a single-player interactive mystery game developed by Nex Atlas Labs ("we," "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on iOS or Android.
We do not collect any information. Specifically, CaseFile:
CaseFile is a self-contained story experience. All case content, images, video, and audio are bundled with the app or loaded from our content delivery assets strictly to render the in-app fictional interfaces (for example, simulated social media and messaging screens that are part of the story). These asset requests do not include any personal or device-identifying information about you, and no data you enter into the app is transmitted anywhere.
Any progress or state you generate while playing (for example, which parts of a case you've viewed) is kept only in the app's local storage on your device. We have no access to it, and it is deleted if you uninstall the app.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any data to share. CaseFile does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social networking SDKs.
CaseFile does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, it does not present the data-collection risks that children's privacy laws (such as COPPA) are designed to address.
Because no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is nothing to retain or delete on our end. Uninstalling the app removes all local app data from your device.
If CaseFile's data practices change in the future (for example, if we add optional cloud features), we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above before that change takes effect.
